About Us

Covington's Trusted Financial Partners Since 2003

Our Story

Founded in 2003 by Sarah Mitchell, CPA, Altitude Accounting began with a vision to provide personalized financial services to Covington's growing business community. Starting with just three clients in a small office in LoDo, we've grown to serve over 500 individuals and businesses throughout Newton County.

Over the past two decades, we've evolved alongside Covington's dynamic economy, developing specialized expertise in areas like technology startups, real estate investment, and Georgia's unique tax landscape. Our growth has been organic, built on referrals from satisfied clients who appreciate our combination of technical expertise and personalized service.
